Why it matters

Anyone can sign off their own fire-stopping. Ours is checked by someone else.

Our installation work is FIRAS-certificated under UKAS 0087 — an independent body audits the work on site, not just the paperwork. For a responsible person carrying the legal duty under the Fire Safety Order, that third-party evidence is the difference between a contractor's word and proof.

FAQ

Common questions

What does third-party (FIRAS) certification actually mean?

It means an independent, UKAS-accredited body assesses and audits our installers' work on site — not just our paperwork. It's the assurance responsible persons and main contractors look for, because the work is checked by someone other than us.

Do you work in occupied buildings?

Yes. We regularly work in live, occupied buildings — care homes, schools, housing and commercial premises — and phase the work to keep disruption to a minimum.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, and work across Nottinghamshire, the East Midlands & UK-wide.

Is a survey free and without obligation?

Yes. We'll arrange a survey and give you a clear, photographed report and a no-obligation quote. There's no commitment to proceed.

Can you carry out the remedial work you find?

Yes. We can survey, specify, install or remediate, and certificate — all in one place — so you don't need a separate contractor to put issues right.

What do I receive after a survey?

A fully photographed report with a numbered record for each door or area, a condition assessment against recognised criteria, and a prioritised remedial schedule — suitable for owners, managing agents, insurers and the fire authority.

Need a fire door or compartmentation survey?

Tell us about your building and we'll arrange a survey and a clear, no-obligation quote.
